Two awards, one great achievement: we are proud to celebrate an outstanding result at the 13th edition of the Cerevisia Award 2026, the national competition established to recognize the quality and excellence of Italian brewing.

Our Amarcord Lager won 1st Prize in the Lager category, while our Amarcord Pilsner earned 3rd Prize in the Pilsner category. These two awards confirm the value of a journey built on research, careful selection of raw materials, respect for time and a constant commitment to quality.

The significance of this achievement is also reflected in the context in which it was earned. The 13th edition of the Cerevisia Award featured 136 beers submitted by 38 breweries from 18 Italian regions, offering a broad and representative overview of the quality and diversity of Italy’s brewing landscape.

All beers are evaluated anonymously following chemical and physical analyses and technical tastings. In other words, what truly makes the difference is what reaches the glass: balance, cleanliness, precision and stylistic consistency.

This is why Amarcord’s double podium finish is particularly meaningful. It comes in two bottom-fermented beer categories—Lager and Pilsner—styles that are both essential and uncompromising, where every production detail matters.

Amarcord Lager is brewed from a recipe that highlights the character of barley malt and overall balance. It pours a brilliant golden colour with a fine, compact white head, offering a clean and harmonious taste, pleasant malty sweetness, delicate hints of barley and balsamic honey, and a moderate bitterness that enhances its refreshing character.

Amarcord Pilsner, on the other hand, offers a modern interpretation of a classic and highly technical style. Its simple recipe, based on Pilsner malt and whole-cone hops, is combined with a long, low-temperature fermentation and cold maturation, resulting in a refined aromatic profile, a clean and refreshing taste, and a finish in which the hops remain the true protagonist.

This double recognition is a toast to quality, passion and our vision of Italian beer.
