When Amarcord first started out in 1997, it was among the first breweries operating in Italy: happy pioneers of a vibrant new era! This is why we are proud to be counted among those who helped pave the way for the Italian brewing movement. From the very beginning, we have focused on quality, tradition and creativity. That is why we chose a name that celebrates the land we come from, a land whose identity has grown around these very values. Since 1997, Birrificio Amarcord has been run by the Bagli family, who continue to brew according to the principles of craft brewing. Nestled between Romagna and the high Marche Apennines, our production facility has been based here since 2009: a place where quality, originality and Italian spirit come together with a contemporary and dynamic approach.

This is our story: the story of a company with a passion for doing things well, for its land and for beer.

Making good beer is by no means easy. It’s a matter not just of raw materials but also of technology, skill and a respect for the value of time itself. We view quality as a project that constantly grows and develops to ensure that Amarcord always means excellence at every sip.
